Trouble-shooting recovery from injury, maximising athletic performance, accelerating return to activity and sport, and preventing future injury all require expertise and thinking outside the box. I thrive on getting to the bottom of persistent and complex problems, and communicating workable recommendations to both patient and their referer.
I offer "Bring My Instructor" consultations for the coach/instructor or health practitioner alongside their athlete/client, taking a deep dive in to shared knowledge of understanding of mechanisms underlying pain, limited performance, or delayed return to sport, and how this relates to any modifications and progressions recommended in the athlete's/client's program. This education filled time makes use of tools such as video analysis, real time ultrasound, anatomical models, and 3D anatomy apps. I share knowledge from the most recent research evidence, with links and summaries.
